In the summer season, people are very fond of Faluda Kulfi, which is found near Bata Chowk in Sakchi market of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Here Janmejoy Das sells Kulfi Faluda stall. He is feeding Falooda Mix Kulfi to the people here since the year 2000. People come to his place from far and wide to taste it.
Janmejoy Das tells that he himself prepares Kulfi and Faluda at home with the help of milk and cream. They have three varieties of Kulfi available which includes Plain Kulfi (Rs 15), Kaju Kesar (Rs 20) and Kaju Pista (Small Rs 20 and Large Rs 30). They cut the kulfi into small pieces in the plate to the customers and mix falooda in it, which people eat with great gusto.
He told that Kulfi is prepared with the help of milk and cream. Cashews, pistachios, almonds, cardamom and custard powder are mixed in it to bring taste. Service is provided daily from 10 am to 9.30 pm at the cart.
Baljit Singh, who is tasting Kulfi Faluda at the cart, said that it is a good option for relief in the heat. It is prepared at home, hence better than packet ice cream. Here Kulfi is served with Falooda. Its price is also reasonable.
